Capabilities

Refine what you have and build what you need

Which business and technology capabilities are “good enough”?

Which new capabilities do I need and when do I need them?

How do our capabilities align to our target operating model?

Should I measure the cost and benefit of these capabilities?

How do I operationalize and sustain business and technology capabilities within my organization?

From my view

Business transformations are seminal opportunities to align an organization’s capabilities, be they people, processes or technology capabilities, to your target operating model. Often, business leaders focus narrowly on the technology being implemented and lose sight of building and refining capabilities. Keeping capabilities top of mind from the inception of the business transformation will help ensure you don’t lose sight of this most important aspect of a successful project.
