I create, implement and optimize plans to support complex business transformations, within the finance domain and across the enterprise.

How I do it

I am hands on, detail oriented and grounded in processes and data. I focus on defining and achieving objectives and key results (OKRs) by building amazing teams, developing effective business processes and relying on data to provide insights and support decision making.

Experience

As CFO of British Columbia Investment Management Corporation, one of Canada’s largest institutional investors ($170+ billion of assets) I scaled-up a finance team (25 to 80 FTE), designed/implemented numerous processes to support in-sourcing of $50 billion of assets and led a multi-year technology program underpinning BCI’s digital transformation.

As CFO of the Workplace Safety & Insurance Board, one of the largest compensation boards in North America, I supported a business turnaround ($1+ billion of losses to $1+ billion of income within four years). I was also the co-business sponsor of a four-year technology program that replaced several legacy applications with a modern technology platform positioning the business for success.
