Spearhead business transformation activities in IM, especially as AIMCo upgrades its systems and technology, aiding the CIO in their vice-chair capacity for the Business Technology Steering Committee.
Relevant Experience
As CFO, led and supported 30+ business transformation activities at BCI and WSIB and for the past three years, served as an advisor to two pension plans and three wealth management firms.
Good understanding of AIMCo’s technology stack and data feeds required to run the business.
Initial Approach
Understand Terms of Reference of Business Technology Steering Committee (Charter) and deep dive on all in-flight and pending technology projects. Review minutes, status reports, etc.
Develop understanding of projects in the IM division (resources, data quality, data lineage) and how those projects will be supported, once completed.
Review any consultant reports in the past few years (i.e., Target Operating Model), vendor reports such as SimCorp etc.
