Relevant Experience

  • Developed and led several internal communications plans for both divisional activities as well as large cross-departmental projects.

  • Extensive use of annual divisional and cross organization business plans as an opportunity to boost communications and align staff on a common vision.

Initial Approach

  • Meet with IM leadership to ensure the Chief of Staff role is understood and seen as a net benefit.

  • Baseline current communications (format, frequency, effectiveness) and work with IM leadership to develop/refine to get their buy in.

Questions

  • What is working well and what needs to be done?

  • How is the risk of “remote” staff feeling isolated being managed?

  • Has the IM division done a staff survey (formal) or pulse (informal) to validate assumptions?
