REQUIREMENT 4

Assist the CIO in effective communication strategies, agenda management for leadership meetings such as Senior Investment Team Meeting, quarterly IM sessions, and Investment Committee discussions.

Relevant Experience

  • Developed and implemented several communications strategies for internal consumption (divisions, projects, organization) and external stakeholders including clients, government entities etc.

  • Numerous examples of effective agenda management for executive teams both as a CFO and Consultant. Agendas are pointed, relevant and appropriate for leadership meetings.

Initial Approach

  • Compile a list of all relevant meetings, deliverables, timelines, impacted staff and required review times to ensure there is a clearly communicated agenda log with deliverables.

  • Ensure IM leadership have awareness of deliverables and timelines so materials are ready when required.

  • Meet with other stakeholders (legal, client relationship managers to ensure messaging/nuances are understood.

  • Develop feedback mechanism to ensure IM leadership and staff as appropriate are debriefed on important meetings (team building/ensure messaging out of meetings is clearly communicated).

  • Develop a log for tracking all deliverables agreed to in above meetings (avoid last minute work).
